Day 1: Transfer from Nairobi to the Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast on the first day of the safari, you will be picked up from your accommodation, given a briefing about the safari, and then taken on a 3- to 4-hour journey to Lake Nakuru National Park. The Lake Nakuru national park is a bird watcher’s dream with many pink-colored flamingos that are observed on the shores of Lake Nakuru. After arriving at the park, you will settle into your lodge, eat lunch and go on an afternoon game drive. In addition to flamingos, other park residents like white rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, and many others can be seen during the game drive. After the game drive you will drive to your lodge, have dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru to Masai mara National Park

You will rise early for breakfast on the second day of your safari, check out of your lodging and depart for the Masai Mara National Reserve. The great migration of wildebeest is witnessed in the Masai Mara National Reserve, which is also home to other wildlife like lions, leopards, Masai giraffes, and many others. It is considered to be the eighth wonder of the world. It takes 6 hours to travel from Lake Nakuru National Park to Masai Mara National Reserve, so you will arrive in the park in the evening. En route, you will have lunch, and once you enter the park, you will go on an evening/night game drive during which you will see a variety of animals, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and other species. Afterwards, drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: A full day in the Masai Mara

You will get a full day to explore the plains of the Masai Mara National Park, its grandeur, and its animals on the third day of the safari. On this day, you will rise early for breakfast before heading to the park for a hot air balloon safari, where you will get an eagle’s eye view of the park’s wildlife. After the activity, you will return to your lodge for lunch before returning for an afternoon game drive, during which you will view a variety of species, including buffalo, rhinos, lions, leopards, and more. Afterwards, drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Transfer back to Nairobi

On the last day of our safari, you will rise early for breakfast, check out of your lodging and drive to the back for an early morning game drive. On the grassy plains of the park, you will witness many animals. You will leave the park following the game drive and begin travelling back to Nairobi. En route, you will stop for lunch in Narok Town, and once you arrive in Nairobi, you will be dropped off either at your hotel in Nairobi or at the airport in time for your flight.
