4 days safari takes you to visit Kenya’s most famous national reserve Masai mara, this safari is much more for the travellers interested in wildlife viewing in the park. during the 4 days, you will do various game drives which will give you an opportunity to view the abundant wildlife in Masai Mara. The park is known to be the home of the big five game including; the lion, elephants, leopard, Rhinos, Buffalos among other animals like the Zebras, cheetah, Impala, Quagga among other. You will also visit the indigenous long inhabitants of Masai mara the Maasai people, this is a group of people who for fist settled in Masai mara before it was set up in to a national park. This noble tribe is one of the very few tribes who have retained most of their traditions, lifestyle they have refused to adopt to change, the Maasai men are the renown warriors who keep security for the cows and for the villages. The Maasai people speak Maa.

Detailed Itinerary

Day: 1 Transfer from Nairo/ hotel in Kenya to Masai mara

On this first day, the driver/ guide will pick you up from the hotel or on arrival at the Nairobi international airport. You will be briefed about your 4 days safari in Masai mara, thereafter, you will start your journey driving west from Nairobi the capital. The drive is scenic, enroute you will see the stunning view of the East African rift valley that spreads from north to the south of Kenya. Due to the road conditions, expect the drive to last about 5 hours on tarmac roads. You will have a brief stopover for lunch thereafter, you will proceed to Masai Mara. Arriving at the park office for registration, proceed to the lodge with the brief game drive to see some of the animals grazing in the savannah grass land.
Proceed and check in to the lodge for relaxation, later dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Full day game drives in Masai Mara

Awake to the wonderful sound of birds in the early morning and proceed for a pre-breakfast game drive within the park. Drive back for a sumptuous breakfast by 08.30am to 09.00am. Relax for a while at the lodge / camp enjoying the facilities, have lunch and a short rest. You will then go on a further game drive in the vast Mara Plains from 3.00 to 06.00pm. Return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: morning game drive and afternoon community tour

Rise up early morning and proceed with the game drive in the game drive in the park, this time be on the lookout for the animals that you could have missed during the other game drives. After the game drive, return to the lodge for your late breakfast and later lunch. While in the afternoon, you will take time and visit the Masai tribe in Masai mara, this is the indigenous group of people who are deeply rooted in their culture.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Morning game drive and transfer to Nairobi

A final game drive at the park this morning after breakfast, which will be followed by a drive back to Nairobi. Drop off at the city centre or the airport for your flight.

The trip will start from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to Maasai Mara National Reserve and you will be dropped off at your hotel in Nairobi or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport after the trip.
