Accommodation in Aberdare national park

Accommodation in Aberdare national park.

Situated in the Kenyan Aberdare mountain ranges near Nyeri, Aberdare National Park offers visitors stunning views of the moorland, stunning waterfalls, and forested ravines with a cooler environment than many other national parks. Despite its tiny size, Aberdare National Park is home to the big five, unique woodland animals, and a rich history of one of the world’s icons—Queen Elizabeth of England learned she was the heir there following the death of her father, King George VI.

The park, which is 100 kilometers north of Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, was created in 1950 with the intention of safeguarding the Aberdare mountain ranges. It has a total area of around 766 square kilometers.
One of the most stunning parks with a picturesque topography is Aberdare National Park, which experiences heavy precipitation and constant mist throughout the year. Elevations range from 6000 feet to 1,3126 above sea level. Nyandaura or Aberdare, the mountain ranges that comprise the eastern wall of the rift valley, are the source of the park’s name.
